About Us
“We have our own dairy farm, Glo-Crest Dairy, where we milk 210 Holsteins twice a day. It’s from our happy cows that we are able to bottle our own milk. All of our milk is bottled here at the creamery and only minimally processed, so it is still non-homogenized where the cream rises to the top and only low temp pasteurized. Here, we also make our own delicious, premium ice creams that can be purchased in containers and in cups, cones and milkshakes year round. At the creamery, you can also find a variety of other local goodies like fresh eggs, ground beef and honey.”
“Farm Tours are offered year round as well. Tours are $7 per person and include visiting the dairy and the creamery, milk samples, a scoop of chocolate or vanilla ice cream and a goody bag. We accept groups, schools and families and individuals. For dates and to reserve, please call us at 770-983-1MOO or visit us online at www.mountainfreshcreamery.com/farm-tours/ .”
“In North GA and want our milk? We sell our milk in stores up to Hiawassee, down as far as Atlanta and east to Athens. For an updated list of our current stores, please visit us at www.mountainfreshcreamery.com/where-to-buy/ .”
